The glow tips back and forth at the waves' current
My teeth rattle to the Rumba beat
A chill runs through the spine of my back
And my chest is about to explode in the air.
Is that the pirates or the saviors?
The glow bobbles about in the dark
We surrender ourselves to Fate
Is life or death waiting, no one can see.
I wish I were a trifling cricket
Hiding somewhere on the bottom of the dinghy
I wish I were a veil of smoke
Meandering toward a nameless island in the sea.
